Texture Tuesday - Garden Party

A puffy snowball hanging in the shadows and light. An early spring moment in the neighbor's garden as the light came in. I have wandered their yard for years, in the early morning when it is just me,  birds practicing their chirps, and my dogs looking longingly over the fence at me.
 "I hope she comes back."
"Do you think she'll come back?"
They seem to say to one another with their worried gazes.

The kids in the neighborhood come in the late afternoon and look for snakes, the garden kind.
