Birds on Winter Water

Last week I attended a conference with lots of classes, discussions and presentations - always trying to learn and share more, you know?   Between the hotel and the conference was a small lake with a bridge  - which I'm sure is delightful in the summer months.  We had winter cold and ice on the lake and a brisk wind on the bridge.  The ducks, geese and swan just did their bird in winter thing.  We bundled.  And moved fast.
