While not ready for the exposure of before and after - here is a sign of progress and "I had no idea!" Progress made in that the table top is (well, was) cleared off! That entire table top has not been clean since I put it together some 10 years ago (baby confession of how bad it was). I was dying for some art related something while I was in my self-imposed grounding, so I allowed myself some organizing, in an artful way. I had NO idea I had so many pens, pencils, paintbrushes, etc. stashed away. The good news is, I won't have to buy pens and pencils for, well, years most likely
It's probably a bit hard to tell, but the colors of the pens and pencils are arranged in ROY G. BIV order. The rainbow colors of Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet - one of the more useful things I learned when my kids were in elementary school.

This collection of pens makes me want to draw! how will you be able to resist?
The thing with such tidy-ups is that (in my case) I usually find something I have to use/play with straight away and then I lack the motivation to keep tidying...
