The Lobster Mash

Cool and creepy, at the same time.

A photo from underneath the bottom of a tank of lobsters all clamoring about.  (ewww.)  A marvel of both design and creepiness.  Take one dark tunnel, add erie music - and look up.

Gives me the shivers just thinking about it.  So, thought I'd share. The original photo, taken inside a dimly lit tunnel was dark and full of camera "noise".  It took a bit of massaging to get it to this state.  Part of my art life I spent as a quilter.  I've been thinking this would make for some great fabric all cut up and added "just so" to a project.  Love the surprise of some fabrics when you get up close and LOOK.

Recently, I finished an online PS (photoshop CS4) class with Marie Otero.  Great class. As a willing beginner in the class I spent much of my limited free time this summer experimenting with all the information Marie shared.  So many options!  I'm beginning to wrap my head around of some of the more basic things.  In the unsteady and trying stage.

whew! great thoughts on fabric's magic...and yes, wouldn't this be a great piece.
so, you give me courage: as usual, to further the tech quest.

eewwwwwww scary.
I took two different Photoshop classes and loved them both but ooooooooh you have to do the work and practice and I didn't and now I'm back to square one. I still have all my notes and downloads and the Dummies book but.....TIME, I need TIME, I say. :)Bea

I did feel a shiver going down my spine though they don't usually have that effect on me.
