In Progress

Three tiny photos.
Recently discovered.

1" X 1 1/2"
circa 1937
My mom with the white hat on the left and right photos.
And in the middle of the middle.

The envelope where they lived
for the past 73 years!
Finally - over at the frame shop.
Two more weeks,
until their display.
SO EXCITED!

P.S. Love having the chance to use the word "circa."  One of my favorite, don't have the opportunity to use too often, words.

Think about joining my Hanging out the laundry challenge. It's on my blog. These picture, the envelope, the stories, clothing, etc would fit right in.
I love seeing hand my ancestors penmanship. Makes me feel a little closer to them, for some reason. :)Bea

there's something about these photographic glimpses into the past that touch you in a very special way. It makes me think of this quote from Gail Lunet Buckley - "Family faces are magic mirrors. Looking at people who belong to us, we see the past, the present and the future."
