A Beach Camera

One Two
Just returned from my first trip to a beach with a camera. The added luxury of traveling eastward meant the time zone changes (2 hours) worked with me for strolling and snapping early in the morning. No alarm necessary to drive me out of bed as the sun prepared its day. Thrown on some jeans, grab a jacket and GO!
At the end of our week-long vacation, my brother-in-law as a rather innocent conversation starter asked me how many photos I took total over the week.
"Two or three hundred?" he asked.
"A day." I responded.
He glanced up at me. The disbelief of "I had NO IDEA" mounted in his eyes.  The discovery of another's obsession - priceless

That is hilarious, I can so relate, since going digital I also shoot a few hundred to almost 500 in an outing. My friend says to me "but you already have photos of chickadees", ah, but not the perfect photo of a chickadee; that search is ever ongoing. I have to admit, I love shooting, I love seeing how the photos turn out, I don't so much relish the time it takes sorting and deleting though.

300 A day? That's fantastic. You have beautiful photographs to show for it. I love this one. I was also confused at first but intrigued.

I love your blog. I came by way of Neva's blog. One, two.....just love it. And, I had to laugh at the how many pictures comment. A friend once asked me how many pictures I took a day and without having to think too hard I said, on the average 100. LOVE the digital camera. Maybe only five will make it into a keep folder but oh what fun! Come visit sometimes. :)Bea
