Last issue of the Rocky Mountain News. Another piece of eras ending. 55 days short of the Rocky's 150th Anniversary. I love newspapers, the feel, texture, type, smell, and of course, the words. I've been a quilter forever - although it's a "not so much, anymore" relationship now. Last year, in an effort to "use what is around" I started using newspapers in my collage art. My connections to newspaper deepened. A silly statement, but sometimes silly is the bare truth. A sad farewell to a morning and weekend friend.
